Dr Chong Yi Rui Tricia is a Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore, with a clinical focus on drug eruptions and urticaria. She is the Deputy of the Urticaria Clinic and is also involved in the Drug Eruption Unit.
Her work includes managing patients with adverse drug reactions as well as chronic urticaria, both of which can present with variable and sometimes complex patterns. She takes a careful and structured approach in evaluating triggers and guiding treatment, particularly for patients requiring long-term follow-up.
Dr Chong is also involved in general dermatology services, where she manages a wide range of skin conditions. She works closely with colleagues when cases require multidisciplinary input, especially in patients with overlapping conditions.
She is actively engaged in teaching and participates in academic discussions within the department. She continues to build her expertise through ongoing clinical exposure and professional development.
Her work reflects a thoughtful approach to conditions that require careful monitoring and patient education. She was awarded the Junior Doctor Teaching Award from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2018.
