About

Dr Benjamin Chang is a Senior Consultant ophthalmologist at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, NHG Health. He holds visiting consultant appointments with Tan Tock Seng Hospital and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

He completed medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1995. He subsequently obtained a Masters diploma in Medical Science (Anatomy) with University College Dublin in 1997. Dr Chang completed his higher specialist training in ophthalmology in Ireland and underwent subspecialty training in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London. His areas of ophthalmic practice include comprehensive ophthalmology, cataracts, paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
