Dr Amanda Tan practises Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, with special interests in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She holds teaching appointments for both NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLL SOM) and NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and is involved in both clinical teaching and examiner duties. Notably, she was Undergraduate Director for NUS YLL SOM, representing the Department of ENT of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, from 2023 to 2025.
Dr Tan graduated from NUS YLL SOM. She was then accepted into the seamless basic and advanced specialist training program for Otolaryngology. She obtained her Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland) and Masters of Medicine in Otolaryngology (NUS YLL SOM). She obtained her Specialist Accreditation in Otolaryngology in 2016. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
She has a subspecialty interest in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and gained a wealth of experience in Yishun Health from 2016. She was awarded the Ministry of Health HMDP (Health Manpower Development Program) to pursue Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in the United States of America in 2019.
Dr Tan joined Woodlands Health in 2025. She speaks English and Mandarin. She hope to be able marry function and form, when treating patients with nasal breathing difficulties.
