We have Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), a ward dedicated providing acute care to patients with undifferentiated conditions that require rapid stabilization and early interventions. We work closely with the surgical teams and relocate our patients to appropriate wards after initial management.

We also have Ambulatory Medical Care (AMC), a service aimed at preventing lengthy hospitalisation for conditions that are amenable to ambulatory management. It is based on the Ambulatory Emergency Care model successfully developed in the UK.

Additionally, we provide general medical, perioperative and thrombosis consultation services to other departments in the hospital.

  We provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnostic services and management of complex and undifferentiated medical presentations and illnesses. We also work in partnership with primary healthcare services to manage common chronic medical conditions.
   

• Perioperative Medicine Clinic
   

  Caters to optimise and oversee patients with multimorbidity who need to undergo surgery, working closely with the anaesthetist, surgeons, and subspecialists.
   

• Thrombosis Clinic
   

  Our doctors work in collaboration with the haematologists to follow up and manage patients with thrombosis and hypercoagulable states.
