Foot Care and Limb Design Centre is home to the first Prosthetics & Orthotics and Podiatry Services in Singapore.
Our Podiatry service specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, helping patients maintain mobility and prevent complications. Our podiatrists deliver evidence-based care, enhanced by modern technology, for the management of foot conditions in adults. We specialise in treating both common and complex conditions, including diabetic foot complications, wounds, sports-related foot and ankle injuries, ingrown toenails, painful nail conditions, and various foot pain and biomechanical issues.
The team delivers comprehensive foot health management through close collaboration with a multidisciplinary network of healthcare specialists, including endocrinologists, vascular surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, sports physicians and physiotherapists.
The Podiatry team is the core member of the award-winning multidisciplinary Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention Programme (LEAPP) in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Through this comprehensive multidisciplinary care initiative, we have successfully reduced complications, amputation rates and hospital stay for patients with diabetic foot ulcers, setting new standards in preventive foot care.

- Professional wound debridement for optimal wound bed preparation
- Implementation of customised wound care protocols with appropriate dressing selection
Biomechanical Management
- Specialised pressure redistribution solutions through prescribed orthoses
- Expert assessment of gait and foot mechanics for wounds in weight-bearing areas
- Therapeutic footwear recommendations
Multidisciplinary Approach
- Coordinated care with vascular surgeons, endocrinologists, and other specialists
