If You Are Not Diagnosed with ADHD

This can feel confusing or disappointing, especially if you strongly identified with ADHD symptoms beforehand — and that's completely understandable.

A formal diagnosis requires symptoms to have been present since childhood, appearing consistently across different settings, and causing significant difficulty in daily life.

Nonetheless, your difficulties are still real. Challenges with attention, restlessness, or impulsivity can stem from many things — stress, anxiety, poor sleep, or major life changes. Your clinician can help you understand what's driving them and what might help.

Please Note

  • If you are unable to attend your appointment due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, you may be able to reschedule once, subject to availability.
  • If the rescheduled appointment is also missed, a new referral will be needed to restart the process.

We are here to support you. If you have any questions at any point, please let our team know.
