Group Chief Allied Health

As Director of Allied Health for the past 8 years since January 2018, Doreen has worked collaboratively to establish initiatives like the Centre for Allied Health and Pharmacy Excellence and develop innovative care models to address challenges in the healthcare system. Her achievements include implementing the One-Rehab pilot framework, developing innovative care models and expanding community rehabilitation programs. She led the establishment of advanced rehabilitation therapeutics services and developed comprehensive workforce transformation strategies including allied health workforce role redesign, advanced practice roles and transdisciplinary training. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with educational institutions for future workforce development and served on numerous committees including the Allied Health Professions Council, National One-Rehab Steering Committee and as MOH Part-Time Professional Senior Principal Project Administrator, where she contributes to national allied health strategy development. She has received numerous accolades including MOH's Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2023.
