A/Prof Jimmy Lee brings over 20 years of distinguished clinical and research experience, with deep expertise in psychiatry, neurosciences, translational research and precision medicine. He currently serves as Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinician-Scientist at the Institute of Mental Health, and Associate Professor at LKCMedicine, NTU. Formerly Chief of North and Central Regions at IMH, he led multi-disciplinary teams to ensure continuity of mental health care from hospital to home. As Clinical Director of NHG Health's Translational Research Office, he has been instrumental in shaping NHG Health's precision medicine strategy.
A/Prof Lee's pioneering research employs multi-modal, multi-omics, and digital phenotyping approaches to advance knowledge in mental health. His transdiagnostic research identifies common mechanisms across psychiatric disorders, enabling more effective treatments. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications of international impact, his contributions have earned multiple awards, including the NMRC Clinician Scientist Award, the NHG-LKCMedicine Clinician Scientist Award (2021), and the NHG Health Outstanding Citizen Award (2024).
