Group Chief Communications Officer

Ms Jennifer Yap leads strategic communications across NHG Health, overseeing brand management, media relations, digital engagement, and stakeholder communications. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and public service, she brings depth in storytelling, crisis management, and organisational transformation. Jennifer served for 14 years as Chief Communications Officer at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where she shaped the hospital’s public image and staff engagement. Prior to that, she spent 15 years at SPRING Singapore, promoting enterprise development and national quality standards. At NHG Health, she aligns communication strategies with the cluster’s population health goals, building trust with patients, staff, and the wider community. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences in Economics and Sociology from NUS and a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Mass Communications. Her leadership helps translate complex healthcare narratives into meaningful, people-centred communication.
