Adj A/Prof Karen Ng leads NHG Polyclinics with a strong focus on preventive care and population health. As CEO, she steers efforts to anchor care in the community through Healthier SG, maternal and child health initiatives, and the adoption of AI and digital tools. A Family Physician and Senior Consultant, A/Prof Ng continues to care for patients at NHG Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic, reflecting her deep commitment to primary care. Prior to her role as CEO, she held leadership positions including Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief of Clinical Services at NHG Polyclinics, driving strategies that integrated primary care and hospital services. She also served as Regional Director and Head of NHG Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic. As Chief of Primary Care, NHG Population Health, she strengthens collaborations between hospitals, GPs, and community partners. She also serves as an adjunct A/Prof at LKCMedicine and is an active researcher and educator in Family Medicine. She has received several national honours, including the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2021 and (Silver) for COVID-19 efforts in 2022. She holds an MBBS and Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from NUS and is a Fellow of both the College of Family Physicians and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
