Group Chief Digital Health Officer

Adj A/Prof Wong drives NHG Health’s digital transformation, leading strategic IT, cybersecurity, informatics, data, and analytics functions. A Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine at TTSH, he blends clinical insights with innovation to improve patient outcomes. A/Prof Wong previously served as NHG’s Group Chief Clinical Informatics Officer and led the implementation of the Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR), including EPIC across two-thirds of Singapore’s healthcare clusters. He has also spearheaded award-winning digital health projects such as patient vital signs automation and the NHG Cares app. A/Prof Wong holds an MBBS from NUS and a Master in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford, supported by the TTSH scholarship. He lectures at NUS and NTU and contributes to national digital health boards. Recognised with the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2023, he continues to advance AI, mobile health, and digital platforms to enable person-centred care and population health.
