Group Chief Clinical Informatics Officer

A/Prof Terence Tang plays a central role in advancing digital integration and clinical intelligence across NHG Health. As Group Chief Clinical Informatics Officer, he provides strategic direction for technology adoption in clinical care. He was instrumental in establishing the Group Health Informatics (GHI), which guides how NHG leverages informatics to improve patient outcomes. A practicing geriatrician at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), he combines his passion for older adult care with his commitment to technology-enabled solutions that support holistic, integrated care. A/Prof Tang holds a medical degree from the University of Singapore and a Master’s in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Medicine (UK). Accredited in Geriatric Medicine, he is also actively involved in medical education. His leadership ensures that NHG’s digital health systems remain clinically grounded and designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and care quality.
