Group Chief Clinical Education Officer

A/Prof Michelle Jong leads NHG Health’s clinical education efforts with a focus on future-ready healthcare training. As Group Chief Clinical Education Officer and Executive Director of NHG College, she drives strategies to equip healthcare professionals with the skills and resilience to meet evolving population needs. She also serves as Assistant Chairman Medical Board (Education) at TTSH and remains a Senior Consultant in Endocrinology. Committed to shaping clinical expertise, A/Prof Jong is a visiting consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and chaired Singapore’s Endocrinology RAC. A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, she trained in Northern Ireland and London before returning to Singapore in 2000. She later earned a Master’s in Health Professions Education from the Harvard Macy Institute. A passionate educator and mentor, A/Prof Jong champions lifelong learning and interprofessional collaboration to build a capable, compassionate healthcare workforce.
