Mr Ong Yew Hing currently serves as Senior Advisor to MOH Holdings and Senior Consultant to Changi Airport Group. He is also a member of the Healthcare Infrastructure and Planning Commitee of MOH Holdings. Mr Ong retired from Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) after serving more than 30 years and holding various positions within DSTA and Ministry of Defence, during which he was involved in various aspects of building and infrastructure development life-cycle including master-planning, engineering design, project management, and technology development.

Prior to his retirement from DSTA, he was the Director of the Building and Infrastructure Programme Centre that was responsible for all defence building and infrastructure development projects, as well as land use planning and estate management of all MINDEF lands and estates. He also co-chaired the management boards of two protective technology research centres in NUS and NTU.

Mr Ong holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Science from the Royal Military College of Science, Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK, and a Dipl. Ing. Degree in Civil Engineering from Universität Essen Gesamthochschule, Germany. Mr Ong was awarded the Public Administration Medal Silver in 2014 and the Public Administration Medal Bronze in 2003.
