1. Where is the Women’s Health & Specialist Centre located?
The centre is located on Level 4 of the Medical Centre at Woodlands Health Campus.
2. If I am seeing the doctor for a woman-related health condition, can I head directly to the Women’s Health & Specialist Centre?
Patients with woman-related health conditions may still need to attend consultations on other levels of the Medical Centre.
To confirm your consultation location, please check the NHG Health App, HealthHub, or the SMS appointment reminder.
After registration, your queue itinerary will be generated, and you can view your queue journey and consultation location.
3. Are there plans to expand your services?
We plan to expand our services progressively. For the latest updates, please refer to our website.
4. Do you offer Breast Screening services?
Yes, Woodlands Health offers breast screening services, including mammograms and ultrasounds. If any abnormalities are detected, appointments can be made to consult a breast surgeon. We also offer breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, and breast reconstruction.
Woodlands Health is a BreastScreen Singapore (BSS)-accredited reading and assessment centre.
5. Will there be labour and delivery services?
No, we do not offer labour and delivery services. However, we provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care. Our obstetric patients will deliver at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Our Obstetrics and Gynaecology services are provided by specialists from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
6. I have an existing appointment at KKH, but I live in Woodlands/Sembawang/Yishun. Will my appointment be transferred to WHSC?
No, appointments are not automatically transferred. You will keep your existing appointment at KKH. To check your appointment details, you can use the NHG Health App, HealthHub App, or refer to the SMS appointment confirmation and/or reminder.
7. If I have an existing appointment with the O&G specialist at KKH, can I transfer my appointment to WH?
Yes, if you wish to transfer your appointment from KKH to Woodlands Health, please inform your KKH doctor during your next visit.
Your doctor will need to submit a referral to Woodlands Health. You will receive an SMS notification once your appointment with Woodlands Health is confirmed.
Please note that once transferred, you will be charged according to Woodlands Health's rates.
8. How can I schedule an appointment with a specialist at the Women’s Health & Specialist Centre?
You can schedule an appointment by calling our Contact Centre at 6363 8000 or emailing us at wh.appt@nhghealth.com.sg.
If you have a Referral Letter, please email it to wh.appt@nhghealth.com.sg. Alternatively, you can ask your referring Clinic or Hospital to send the Referral Letter on your behalf and arrange the appointment for you.
Our team will review your referral and send you an appointment confirmation via SMS. You can also view your appointment details in the NHG Health App and/or HealthHub App.
*Please note that a polyclinic or CHAS referral is required for subsidised clinic appointments (Singaporeans & PR only).
