Dr Roy Tan obtained his Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore in 2011.

He underwent a 2-year local fellowship in Oculoplastic and Orbital surgery with the National Healthcare Group Eye Institute. Subsequently, he spent 1 year as a clinical fellow in Academic Medical Centre (Amsterdam), Netherlands, where he was trained in Oculoplastic and Orbital surgery.

Dr Tan's clinical interests are eyelid surgery (Oculoplastic), lacrimal system surgery, orbital surgery as well as general ophthalmology including cataract surgeries.

Dr Tan speaks English, Mandarin and Hokkien.
