Biodata

Dr Andrew Li is both a respiratory and intensive care physician with special clinical interests in intensive care, airway diseases, and interstitial lung disease. He is also a visiting consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and National University Hospital.

His other area of interest is in health informatics, and he has been deeply involved in the development of the new-generation electronic medical system that is being rolled out in both NUHS and NHG clusters.

He received his specialist training in NUH and obtained both his respiratory medicine and intensive care specialization in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Passionate about education and research, Dr Li has won several prizes, including the Resident Mentor Award in 2018 in NUH, the APSR/J Patrick Barron medical Education Young Investigator Award in 2019, and the Special Recognition Award as a role model for the Medicine Graduating Class of both 2016 and 2019. He was also the book prize winner his respiratory medicine exit exams.

He has also published extensively in high-impact journals, including American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Chest, Critical Care and Annals Academy of Medicine Singapore. He is also a regular reviewer of several medical journals. He has also participated as the primary investigator, co-investigator and collaborator of multiple grants and international studies.
