Biodata

A/Prof Madelynn Chan is Senior Consultant Rheumatologist at the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Rheumatology Lead and Associate Professor (Clinical Practice) at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. A/Prof Chan graduated from the University of Western Australia and trained in Rheumatology at Royal Perth Hospital in Perth, Western Australia and the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath, England. She was awarded her MD research thesis on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus by the University of Bath.

A/Prof Chan chairs the NHG Health Research Ethics Committee. Her research interests include musculoskeletal health services outcomes and systemic lupus erythematosus outcomes. She is a clinical research investigator at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and has experience in conducting clinical randomised controlled trials in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
