Dr Andrew Leong is a Consultant Cardiologist at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he leads the Arrhythmia Service. He also serves as a Visiting Consultant to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Woodlands Health. After earning his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2010, Dr Leong went on to obtain the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2014 and a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine in 2015. He completed his Cardiology Residency training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and achieved Specialist Accreditation in Cardiology in 2019.

In 2023, Dr Leong was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Scholarship, enabling him to pursue a Fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Devices and Electrophysiology, under the tutelage of Dr Zachary Whinnett, at The Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College London NHS Trust.

In addition to his expertise in general cardiology, which encompasses a wide range of cardiac diseases, including coronary artery disease and cardiometabolic conditions, Dr Leong has subspecialty interests in arrhythmias, conduction disorders, cardiac device therapy, physiological pacing, and heart failure. He manages Arrhythmia, Heart Failure, and General Cardiology clinics, and routinely performs surgical implantation of loop recorders, pacemakers, and defibrillators, with a particular focus on physiological pacing and cardiac resynchronisation.
