Dr Tay Kai-Xian received the Bachelors of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore and worked in multiple public institutions after graduation.

He received the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Post-Graduate Sponsorship to continue with his specialty training.

Upon completion of his Masters of Dental Surgery (Endodontics) from the National University of Singapore, he was awarded the Society of Endodontists, Singapore Prize for being the 'Best Student in the Final M.D.S. Examination'.

Dr Tay is a Visiting Associate Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital Dental. His clinical interests include the use of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and endodontic treatment planning.
