The Mobile BMD is our Bone Mineral Densitometry service on wheels.

 

In the past, BMD services were only available in hospitals. Since the launch of our Mobile BMD in 2011, people can go for BMD scans for osteoporosis screening near their homes, workplaces or at community health screening events.

What features does the Mobile BMD have?


Our Mobile BMD:

  • Has patient-friendly features such as:
     

    • Changing room for patient​
       

    • Comfortable waiting area for patient and caregiver
       

    • Automated lifter for wheelchair users
       

  • Is equipped with a dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) technology unit
     

 

 

What are the benefits of the Mobile BMD?

Community

  • Need not travel to hospitals for BMD tests as our Mobile BMD can be located at a primary care, workplace or community setting.

Doctors

  • Have more BMD service location options to refer patients to instead of hospitals only.

Corporate/community Partners

  • Offer convenient on-site BMD examinations for your staff or residents as part of yourstaff wellness event or community outreach programme.

How can I book the Mobile BMD for my event?


Booking is available on a full-day basis (8.30am to 4.30pm).
