Facilitating Interprofessional Learning and Collaborative Practice
Healthcare and patient care in primary care and population health is getting more complex. Healthcare providers traditionally work in teams or in loose affiliations to deliver healthcare services including primary acute, chronic and preventive care. Complexity in the delivery of healthcare then requires healthcare professionals to work in an Interprofessional Collaborative manner. This workshop is designed to equip healthcare professionals, to facilitate interprofessional education, interprofessional collaborative practice at the workplace.

- Describe the different concepts of interprofessional Education, Inter-professional collaborative-practice (IPCP) and interprofessional learning IPL
- Describe the competencies of good interprofessional education and collaborative practice
- Perform general facilitation skills
- Apply specific IPC facilitation skills w\ Hierarchy, stereotypes and healthcare professional cultures
- Apply general and IPC facilitation strategies at different platforms
- Design an interprofessional learning session as an interprofessional faculty at work, incorporating elements of the interprofessional learning and collaborative practice
