Collection Instructions:
1. Draw sufficient blood into pink top tube.
2. Gently invert the tube 8 - 10 times.
3. Send specimen to the laboratory immediately.

2. Type and screen collected via ECM does not require a hardcopy request form.
3. The requirement for a confirmatory blood grouping specimen will be established by Blood Transfusion Service (BTS). BTS personnel will place the order in EPIC.
