AI and Data Science are emerging fields that hold immense potential for transforming healthcare. By enabling machine learning and AI to analyze complex, large, and diverse datasets, we can significantly improve the quality, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness of patient services. These technologies have already demonstrated success in areas such as medical image classification, segmentation, prediction, and decision-making, with the promise of further breakthroughs on the horizon.

 

To address the research and translational challenges in healthcare focused on AI and Data Science, we the IEEE EMBS – Duke-NUS – HealthTEC.SG – NUS iHealthtech Forum will focus on the latest research, advances, and challenges in AI innovations for healthcare, medicine, and biology. The event will feature 16 plenary and keynote speakers and poster presentations on cutting-edge research. Additionally, there will be a signature Medtech Pitch Competition, offering promising MedTech startups the chance to demonstrate their innovative potential.
